Through their years of cooking and teaching experiences, our children’s cooking experts have a strong sense of tools and ingredients that are well suited for children to use. We start from there, and then scour the marketplace to find brands and products for little foodies in the making. We love kid-sized, handy, and fun tools.
We’d love your input- please use contact us to send us your ideas!
Each month, a shopping list will be emailed to you when your kit ships, so you can stock up on ingredients in advance. We believe going to the market and selecting high quality, fresh ingredients is an important life skill.
If you have Google Gmail, please “move” our email from the Promotions tab to Primary tab so you don’t miss these important messages!
Just in case you miss it, the same list will also be enclosed in printed form your kit.
We encourage you to use our shopping lists, foodie pages, and games and activities to explore and experiment with your kids at the store, market, and in your pantry and refrigerator!
Every month we will have additional recipes, tips, and printables to extend the fun. Take a look at the Ideas section of our site!
Kitchen safety is extremely important. First and foremost, we ask you to always supervise your kids in the kitchen. We also seek to educate kids about how to be safe and confident in the kitchen, and each month we will include new lessons about kitchen safety and proper use and care of kitchen tools. Post our kitchen rules in your home!
