Welcome to (the “Site”), a website owned and operated by Kidstir LLC. (“Kidstir,” “us,” or “we”). We know you are concerned about privacy, so we developed this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) to explain how we collect, use, and disclose information from you, our user (“you” or “your”). As a guiding principal, our mission at Kidstir is to help parents raise curious, confident, capable kids, as well as a number of related services (“Services”). Read on and we will tell you how this all works.

So we are clear on the terminology we use, “Personal Information” means contact information (i.e., your name, address, email address, and/or telephone number) and any other non-public information that is used or intended to be used to personally identify an individual, and any other non-public information that is associated with that information. “Anonymous Information” means information that is not used or intended to be used to personally identify an individual. Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy will have the meaning ascribed to them in our Terms of Use.

Our Site and Services are targeted to parents. The Site and Services are not directed to children and children are not eligible to use our Site or Services. Protecting the privacy of children is very important to us. We do not collect or maintain Personal Information from people we actually know are under 13 years of age, and no part of our Site or Services is designed to attract people under 13 years of age. If we later learn that a user is under 13 years of age, we will take steps to remove that user’s Personal Information from our databases and to prevent the user from utilizing the Site and the Services.

By registering with the Site and/or using the Services, you are consenting to our collection, use and disclosure practices described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy describes our practices for both a “Visitor” (which means that you simply browse the Site) and a “Member”, which means that you have subscribed to a membership for our Services and created an account (your “Account”).


Personal Information
In general, the Personal Information we gather enables us to provide the Site, Services (including Membership) and Products to you. We collect Personal Information that you submit to us voluntarily when you register with us, become a Member and/or order Products. To create an “Account” with a user name, we require that you provide certain Personal Information, including your name and email address.

You are not required to have an Account to place an order for Products, but you are required to have an Account to become a Member. Payments on the Site may be processed by our service providers who collect your credit card information directly, and we will not have access to or see your credit card information as part of such transaction. We also collect other types of Personal Information that you provide to us voluntarily as you use the Site or if you contact us via e-mail regarding the Site or Products.

If you participate in a sweepstakes, contest or giveaway on our Site, we may ask you for your e-mail address and/or home number (to notify you if you win or not). We may also ask for first and last names, and sometimes post office addresses to verify your identity. In some situations we may need additional information as a part of the entry process, such as a prize selection choice. These sweepstakes and contests are voluntary. We recommend that you read the rules for each sweepstakes and contest that you enter.

If you choose to use our “Refer a Friend” feature, we will ask for your friends’ email address. We will send your friend a one time email inviting them to visit the Site. We do not store this information or use it for any other purpose other than to fulfill send the email at your request and to validate participation in our Refer a Friend program.

Information We Collect via Technology.
As you use the Site or the Service, certain information may be passively collected by Cookies, navigational data like Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) and third party tracking services, including:

• Information Collected by Our Servers. To make our Site and Services more useful to you, our servers (which may be hosted by a third party service provider) collect information from you, including your browser type, operating system, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address (a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet, which may vary from session to session), and/or a date/time stamp for your visit.

By way of example, Google Analytics uses Cookies to collect information such as how often users visit the Site, what pages they visit, and what other sites they used prior to coming to the Site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve our Site and Services. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit the Site, rather than your name or other personally identifying information. We do not combine the information generated through the use of Google Analytics with your Personal Information. Although Google Analytics plants a persistent Cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit the Site, the Cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to the Site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy.

Anonymous Information
Generally, we use Anonymous Information in statistical analysis to help us analyze patterns in the use of our Services. We may, through our use of Cookies, keep you logged into our Site, collect your click-stream data, tailor web content to you and personalize your experience on the Site. We may also use your Anonymous Information to improve our internal operations, notify visitors of updates to our Site and Services, and software and customize the content and layout of the Site and/or Service.

Personal Information
We may disclose certain Personal Information:
• Third Party Service Providers. We may share your Personal Information with our third party service providers that help us provide Services that we offer you, including our payment processors.

If you choose to do this, we will provide information to such SNSs in accordance with your elections. Regardless of any choices you make regarding your Personal Information (as described below), we may disclose Personal Information if it believes in good faith that such disclosure is necessary: (a) in connection with any legal investigation; (b) to comply with relevant laws or government requests or to respond to subpoenas or warrants served on us; (c) to protect or defend our rights or property or other users of the Services; and/or (d) to investigate or assist in preventing any violation or potential violation of the law, this Privacy Policy, or our Terms of Use, including as part of credit fraud protection.

Anonymous Information
We may disclose Anonymous Information without restriction.

You may correct and update information we collect from you by logging onto the Site and accessing your Account. If you change and/or request changes to your information, subsequent uses or disclosures of that information by us will reflect those changes, however, we do not have the ability to update any information previously disclosed to any third party. We will correct any inaccuracies in any Personal Information that we have in our possession once notified of the requested change. We try to process these requested changes as soon as is possible, but it may take up to thirty (30) days to make requested changes.

Certain information is necessary in order for us to provide the Site or Services; therefore, if you delete such necessary information you will not be able to use the Site or Services. Please note that even though you may request the deletion of your Personal Information by us, we may be required (by law or otherwise, such as to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, or enforce our Terms of Use) to keep this information and not delete it (or to keep this information for a certain time) in which case we will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements. When we delete Personal Information, it will be deleted from the active database, but may remain in our archives.

If you provide feedback to us, we may use and disclose such feedback in accordance with the terms in our Terms of Service, provided we do not associate such feedback with your Personal Information. We will collect any information contained in such feedback and will treat the Personal Information in it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

The Site may contain links to other websites. Kidstir is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other websites. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by us through the Site or Services and does not apply to these third party websites. We encourage our Users to read the privacy policies of each and every website they visit. Users should always use caution and common sense when choosing to provide Personal Information on the Internet, particularly when it comes to information such as credit cards and other payment information. The ability to access information of third parties from the Site or Services is for your convenience and does not signify our endorsement of such third parties, their services, other websites, locations or their contents.

This Privacy Policy is subject to revision from time to time on a going-forward basis. We will post any revised version of the Privacy Policy on this page. If we make any material changes to it, we will also send you notice thereof to the last email address you have provided to us. Continued use of our Services following notice of such changes will indicate your acknowledgement of such changes and agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions of such changes.
