Looking for an easy dessert for a kids’ birthday party or special celebration? Candy-filled chocolate candy bombs will have everyone smiling when kids break open the chocolate domes to see what’s inside. Plus they’re fun to make together. Who’s ready to have smashing time at the party?
Note to grown-ups:
This is a fun introduction to candy making but the techniques can be a little tricky at first. Make sure you coat the bowl with a thick, even layer of chocolate with no bare spots showing through. Once the chocolate hardens, help your child release the chocolate mold. If the mold is stuck, gently begin to tear or cut the bowl with kitchen scissors to separate it from the chocolate.
