- Instead of ramen noodles, use soba noodles
- Vegetarian
- Instead of chicken broth, use vegetable broth
Pizza Soup
- Dairy Free
- Instead of mozzarella, use dairy-free cheese (like Daiya brand); topping optional
- Gluten Free
- Use gluten-free pasta
- Vegan & Vegetarian
- Instead of beef, use Beyond Burger meat (if using plant-based meat, use low- or no-sodium broth) or use a second can of beans of your choice
- Instead of chicken broth, use vegetable broth
*You may need to reduce or omit the salt in your recipe when using beef substitute. Check sodium.
Cheesy Broccoli Bowls
- Vegan
- Instead of butter, use Earth Balance Original spread
- Instead of milk and half-and-half, use 20 ounces or 2 ½ cups of coconut milk
- Instead of cheddar, use dairy-free cheese like Daiya brand
