Do you need dietary modifications to one of the recipes in our June 2019 Snack Happy kit? Check out the suggestions below:

Fish Food

  1. Dairy-Free
    • Instead of cheddar cheese, use a dairy-free cheese option like Daiya brand
    • Instead of cow’s milk use soy, oat, rice, almond, or coconut milk
  1. Gluten-Free
    • Instead of wheat flour, use a 1-to-1 gluten-free substitute like Bob’s Redmill brand
  1. Vegan
    • Instead of cheddar cheese, use a dairy-free cheese like Daiya brand
    • Instead of butter, use a dairy-free option like Earth Balance Original
    • Instead of cow’s milk, use your choice of soy, oat, rice, almond, or coconut milk

Power Munchies

  1. Dairy-Free and Vegan
    • Instead of Parmesan cheese, use a dairy-free alternative like Parma! Brand Vegan Parmesan Cheese

 

Animal Crackers

  1. Dairy-Free and Vegan
    • Instead of butter, use a dairy-free alternative like Earth Balance Original
    • Instead of milk, use water
  1. Gluten-Free
    • Instead of whole-wheat and regular flour, use a 1-to-1 gluten-free substitute like Bob’s Redmill brand
