With spring in full swing, make a cute & healthy after school snack! It's a fun snack activity for kids to make with a friend on a playdate. Plus the recipe is packed in protein and a good way to get kids to eat their veggies.


• 4 eggs

1. Boil the eggs - Place 4 eggs in a small saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring the water to a boil, then turn off the heat. Put the lid on the saucepan and let the eggs sit in the hot water for 12 minutes. Peel the eggs under running cold water.
2. Make a friendly face - Slice the boiled eggs and place them on a plate or cutting board. Add a triangle nose (cut from an orange pepper) to each face. Add chive eyes and hair, too.
3. note Get creative with more egg animals - Once you've made the chicks, try making other animal faces. Use olives or carrot rounds for eyes, chives for whiskers and tails, and radishes and peppers for ears. Now say hello to your egg friends!
