Do you need dietary modifications to one of the recipes in our December 2018 Winter Wonderland kit? Check out the suggestions below:

Snowball Truffles

  1. Dairy Free  and Vegan
    • Instead of heavy cream, use a dairy-free alternative like coconut cream
    • Instead of cow’s milk, use your choice of soy, oat, rice, almond, or coconut milk

Hot Cocoa Cookies

  1. Dairy Free
    • Instead of butter, use a non-dairy alternative like Earth Balance Original
    • Instead of cow’s milk, use your choice of soy, oat, rice, almond, or coconut milk
  1. Gluten Free
    • Instead of wheat flour, use a 1-to-1 gluten-free substitute like Bob’s Redmill brand
  1. Vegan
    • Instead of butter, use a non-dairy alternative like Earth Balance Original
    • Instead of cow’s milk, use your choice of soy, oat, rice, almond, or coconut milk
    • Instead of egg, use 1/4 cup mashed banana, and 1/4 soy or coconut yogurt. Egg replacement

 

Shortbread Snowflakes

  1. Dairy Free and vegan
    • Instead of butter, use a non-dairy alternative like Earth Balance Original
    • Instead of cow’s milk for frosting, use your choice of soy, oat, rice, almond, or coconut milk
  1. Gluten Free
    • Instead of wheat flour, use a 1-to-1 gluten-free substitute like Bob’s Redmill brand
