Apple Cupcakes
Here’s a fun long weekend activity that will also make a delicious back-to-school classroom treat! Decorate cupcakes with our naturally tinted icing, pretzel sticks, and mint leaves. Each one will look like one smart apple! It’s just 60 minutes from the start to finish. Tools your kids will use include:
- 12-cup muffin tin
- 12 paper bake cup liners
- mixing bowls
- measuring spoons and cups
- aluminum foil
- strainer
Kitchen skills the kids will learn are baking, frosting and very creative presentation. The ingredients are muffin or cupcake batter (Easy Applesauce Muffins or your favorite recipe), vanilla frosting, fresh raspberries, pretzel sticks and 12 mint leaves.
